Delivery and Returns

HANDCRAFTED, QUALITY PRODUCT

Each piece by Rooted Romantic is made by hand by me, Jake. I want you to love your jewellery purchase as much as I loved making it – and I thank you for your patience!

Because every piece is made by hand in Canada in limited batches, I don’t always have an item in stock that you may want. If the piece you’ve fallen in love with and want to order is not in stock, you will see a note that says ‘can be made to order’. You will be informed by email if this is the case, and the order may take up to two weeks to fulfill. I will keep you updated on the expected delivery time with your confirmation email.

DELIVERY COSTS

If you live in Camrose, AB, or close enough to make the trip, we can arrange free pickup.

Else, all items are shipped using Canada Post, whether in Canada or International. Generally speaking, shipping will be between $15-$40.

International duty is payable by you, the receiver, but I will do what I can to inform you of the approximate amount you should expect to pay before shipping.

Please note that all items must be signed for. Please ensure you are able to sign for the package at the delivery address provided when placing your order.

Rooted Romantic is not responsible for any delays caused by any customs procedures in the country of destination or any duty or taxes incurred in the country of destination.

RETURNS

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your order please don’t hesitate to contact mehere.

If you order a custom piece, I cannot offer a refund unless the piece is found to be faulty. In certain circumstances I may be able to offer an exchange for another piece. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, as I’m sure we can work something out.

Should you find a fault with your item, please contact me immediately. Once you have notified me of your faulty item, I will confirm your return in writing. You should then post the item back to me to the address I provide.

Please note: you will be responsible for the item(s) until they reach me as I cannot be held responsible for items that become lost or damaged during your return postage to me. I suggest you use a secure delivery service which requires a signature for proof of receipt.

PROCESSING YOUR REFUND

Upon receipt of the items being returned, the credit or debit card, or PayPal account originally used for the purchase will be credited with the cost of the goods minus the delivery charges (exceptions may apply).

I will process your refund within 48 hours of receipt. Your credit card company may take 4-7 working days to credit your account.
