The Elder tree (latin: Sambucus spp..) is a tree of the edges. He grows beside railways, roads, and rivers. He quickly recovers from broken branches, and each part of the tree can be used in propagation.
His presence is common in lore, the Celts believing that standing under an Elder will help you see faeries. His branches were used to make flutes.
